চিঠিৰ গুৰুত্ব তথা স্মৃতি সজীৱ কৰি ৰখাৰ মহৎ স্বাৰ্থত ভাৰতীয় ডাক বিভাগ, অসম চক্ৰৰ উদ্যোগত আৰু গুৱাহাটী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ৰ আধুনিক ভাৰতীয় ভাষা আৰু সাহিত্য অধ্যয়ন বিভাগৰ সহযোগত ১৯ জুন, ২০২৬ তাৰিখে ‘Patra-Spandan | হেঁপাহৰ চিঠিখন’ শীৰ্ষক এটি মননশীল অনুষ্ঠানৰ আয়োজন কৰা হয়।
চিঠি-পত্ৰক কেন্দ্ৰ কৰি মনত সজীৱ হৈ থকা স্মৃতি, চিঠি লিখাৰ অনুভৱ, পত্ৰ-পৰম্পৰাৰ ইতিহাস আৰু আজিৰ সময়ত চিঠিৰ প্ৰাসংগিকতা সন্দৰ্ভত উপস্থিত অতিথি আৰু গৱেষক শিক্ষাৰ্থীসকলে আন্তৰিক মত-বিনিময় কৰে।

চিঠি-পত্ৰক কেন্দ্ৰ কৰি আমাৰ মন মননত সজীৱ হৈ থকা বিভিন্ন মধুৰ স্মৃতি আৰু ভাৰত তথা অসমৰ পত্ৰ পৰম্পৰাৰ ইতিহাস সম্পৰ্কে এই অনুষ্ঠানত বিস্তাৰিত ৰূপত আলোচনা কৰা হয়। অতীতত চিঠি লিখাৰ অভিজ্ঞতা বা কাৰোবাৰ পৰা চিঠি এখন পোৱাৰ আনন্দ, চিঠি লিখাৰ মাদকতা, জীৱনৰ প্ৰথম চিঠিখন পোৱাৰ আনন্দ, সাম্প্ৰতিক সময়ত চিঠি লিখাৰ প্ৰয়োজনীয়তা আৰু ইয়াৰ সৈতে জড়িত আবেগিক তথা ব্যক্তিগত অনুভৱ, স্মৃতি সন্দৰ্ভতো উপস্থিত অতিথিসকলৰ লগতে গৱেষক শিক্ষাৰ্থীসকলে মত-বিনিময় কৰে।
এই অনুষ্ঠানটোৱে চিঠি-পত্ৰক কেন্দ্ৰ কৰি আমাৰ মন-মননত সজীৱ হৈ থকা স্মৃতি ৰোমন্থনৰ এটি বাট মুকলি কৰি দিলে বুলি উপস্থিত গৱেষক শিক্ষাৰ্থীসকলে মন্তব্য কৰে।
এই অনুষ্ঠানৰ সৈতে সংগতি ৰাখি শিক্ষাৰ্থীসকলক আপোনজনলৈ নিজৰ মনোভাৱ ব্যক্ত কৰি চিঠি লিখিবলৈয়ো অনুপ্ৰাণিত কৰা হয়। সেই চিঠিৰ আঁত ধৰি পুনৰবাৰ এইধৰণৰ অনুষ্ঠানৰ আয়োজন কৰা হ’ব বুলিও ভাৰতীয় ডাক বিভাগৰ পৰা জানিবলৈ দিয়ে।
Patra-Spandan | The Letter of Longing
An engaging programme titled “Patra-Spandan | The Letter of Longing” was organized by the India Post, Assam Circle, in collaboration with the Department of Modern Indian Languages and Literary Studies, Gauhati University.
The programme featured extensive discussions on the sweet memories associated with letter-writing that still remain alive in our minds, as well as the historical tradition of correspondence in India and Assam. The invited guests and research scholars exchanged views on experiences of writing letters in the past, the joy of receiving a letter, the charm of letter-writing, the happiness of receiving one’s first letter, the relevance of writing letters in the present time, and the emotional and personal sentiments and memories associated with it.
The attending research scholars remarked that the programme opened up a pathway for reminiscing the memories associated with letters that still remain vivid in our hearts and minds.
In keeping with the spirit of the programme, students were also encouraged to write letters expressing their feelings to their loved ones. It was further informed by India Post that similar
programmes would be organized again based on these letters.
